This mixing system is not a "Gimmick" for conversation. It's actually based on the scientific optical fact that our eyes have Rods to see black and white, and Cones that see color. These Cones see only the three primary colors; Red, Yellow and Blue. All Burnt Umber, Sienna, Yellow Ochre and even Black is mixed from these three primary colors inside the brain. Since paint manufacturers refuse to make pure primary colors, our system has incorporated a Double Primary Palette; a warm and cool Blue, warm and cool Red, warm and cool Yellow. The marvelous thing about this system is, it's impossible to mix dirty or muddy colors. When mixed they cause an emotional response in the brain, as the three Primary Colors are translated into browns, blacks and rust. It allows these three Primary Colors to translate the full spectrum in the mind, triggering a visual vibration.
